Instead of offering to purchase a longer scale to suit the changing needs of its client, Balances Industrielles Montréal decided to rise up to the challenge and find a way to build an extension for a concrete truck scale that was more than 20 years old. However, the construction of an extension is harder than it seemss, since it is important to reproduce the components used twenty years ago in order to be able to connect the two sections of the scale. With imagination and precision, BIM was able to attach the new with the old. Now the same scale will be used for at least another twenty years!
